Private one-on-one ritual for somatic opening during the processes of grief, unlocking and opening the heart in a contained, safe, ceremonial space.

This offering is based in a lifetime of traditional music and culture studies, somatic practice, trauma informed support, and the primary experiential knowledge of being born into an ecstatic intimacy with grief and the honing of connective sensitivities.

The mission of the work is to reanimate a relationship with grief and assist in its flow through individuals for the many positive ripple effects this has on our community, ancestors, and the land. It is a devotional act of reconnection.

I have apprenticed with these energetics over many seasons, and now hope to share the medicine brought up from that experience, education, and work in the dark.

The work is deep opening, cleansing and transforming assisted by ritual, kinetic and sonic experience. It draws from ancient connective technologies that give meaning to my entire body of music work, but in this setting are practiced in their pure, potent form.

The ceremony involves land connection, herbal support, trauma-informed anchoring, preparatory diet, conjunctive practice, lamentation, solo and conversational integration, and thanks giving. It is a ritual experience bolstered by the support systems of the participant and shaped to work with their thresholds and personal relationships with the more-than-human world.

To meet with and let grief flow through the body is an important process of both expressing our living love to what has been lost and allowing these massive energies moving through us to not stagnate so that the relationship may be allowed to transform into a new form that is both physically and emotionally sustainable. It is a crucial energetic process for the health of both the griever and that which is being grieved.

This process includes a 90 minute orientation phone call, a private 4 hour session that involves preparation, ceremony, rest and integration following the experience, and finally a 30 minute integrative discussion a week following the rite. The cost of the work is $850 for the combined six in-session therapeutic hours over three separate days that are spread out over a few weeks time.

This is an opportunity for connecting with and honoring what we have been separated from, and reflection and integration to unearth and hold what we are connected to. To reweave.
