Voice Opening SERIES: Group Class for 2026
Send me a note here to voice interest /register to participate in this three class series, in person, hosted in Traverse City, MI: contact@laurelpremo.com
Description: Presented by Laurel Premo, The Vocal Opening Series will be three group workshops oriented specifically towards women and non-binary folks whose experience has been lived in a body/voice that has been traditionally quieted by society. This therapeutic singing work is aimed at unearthing and strengthening the participant’s own authentic voice - the sound of their body, fortifying confidence with using it in any style of communication, and supporting a slow growth towards more powerful local singing traditions that can form bonds in community, gathering energy, and nourish all gathered there. It will be focused and inclusive work, starting with very core human sound production and breathwork, and is welcoming to all experience levels
Dates: Three consecutive Sundays: February 1st, 8th, and 15th 2:00-3:00 pm
Cost: This series is supported by the Grand Traverse Community Foundation and will be at low or no cost to participants
