The 2018 season of Beethoven & Banjos explored baroque and Scandinavian music. This video captures Guro Kvifte Nesheim (hardanger d'amore) and Laurel Premo (fiddle) improvising a duet of a traditional Norwegian tune called 'Fille-Vern' that comes from the playing of Andris K Rysstad. Beethoven & Banjos is an artist residency and festival in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan featuring cross-genre collaboration.
